Same unit works for both EMT and Rigid Conduit (hard pipe)
For Hard Pipe
- Drop mud ring with device attached or device only that's attached and tucked toward the back of the assembly a few inches below box.
- Run conduit and feed wires to box.
- Strip wires and attach to WAGO quick connectors or wire nuts on device leads.
- Reattach mud ring and device to box.
Or for MC Cable and Flexible Conduit Whip Jobs
- Remove box KO at proper location.
- Fish device leads with WAGO quick connect or live spring wire nuts attached thru opened KOs.
- Connect whip to device leads and fish wires back into box thru open KO until whip is firmly attached to box with a snap in connector attached to whip.

- Assemblies are easier to handle and install without whips attached plus whips are connected to box later when correct lengths required are definitly known.
